How old do you have to be for chiropractic care?

Chiropractor Vero Beach, Fl.- The answer is…. The day you are born is a great time to begin chiropractic care.  Think about it, that’s an awfully small area the baby has been living in for the last nine months.  If mom happens to be a rather petite lady, it can be even smaller.  Baby might have to bend and twist to fit into that little area.  Not to mention the birth canal.   Twisting and fitting into even a smaller area can be extremely stressful on the baby and the mom.  Post birth adjustments are very good for the baby.  Of course, the adjustment is not like I would adjust an adult.  The are very gentle with more of pressure being used to align the spine.  Remember there is no one too young for an adjustment.  My personal record is 3 days old for the youngest I’ve personally adjusted.  Dr. Thomas Harmody is a chiropractor at Vero Walk-In Chiropractic and Wellness in Vero Beach, Fl.
