A common complaint is, “My hip hurts.”

Chiropractor Vero Beach, Fl.- There is usually a clear difference between hip pain and back pain.  Hip pain usually demonstrates as discomfort in the front of the body, at the top of the leg, or it can also be painful on the outside of the leg at the top.  Rarely does the pain from a hip problem show on the back portion of the body.  That is usually a back or a sacroiliac joint problem.  Those conditions will show discomfort on the lower back at the top of the glutes and can sometimes be on either the left or right.  These two things can be confused as one or the other, but often show a clear delineation between the two.  So, is it back pain or hip pain?  Front side pain is usually hip issues and back side is usually from the lower spine.  Dr. Thomas Harmody is a chiropractor at Vero Walk-In Chiropractic in Vero Beach, Fl.
